Assist Our Research

The AOA Research Foundation relies on donations from AOA members and external organisations to fund musculoskeletal research in Australia. All donations, no matter how small or large, are gratefully received and carefully stewarded to ensure that the funds are allocated to the most appropriate projects.

Your donation can go towards general musculoskeletal research or a specific area of your choice.

100% of your donation will go directly to musculoskeletal research in the form of a grant or scholarship. You may wish to choose a specific type of research for your donation, such as:

Spine, shoulder and elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, trauma or other specific areas
Paediatric musculoskeletal conditions
A particular musculoskeletal disorder (e.g. arthritis, osteoporosis, carpal tunnel syndrome)
A particular type of implant or material
Short- or long-term projects
Novel surgical techniques or new management methods

Your donation will help to ensure that musculoskeletal researchers in Australia can continue their important work of continually improving the quality of care provided to patients in Australia and around the world.
